At this stage we decide on his race and profession, which determine the basic statistics (strength, vitality, charisma, intellect, agility and luck) and indirectly affect the appearance. The adventure in Biomutant begins with the creation of a hero. The system prepared by the authors, the so-called contextual storyteller, makes sure that all events are presented in an attractive form as a coherent story, continuously commented by the narrator.
Our actions and decisions affect the protagonist and the entire land, as well as create a non-linear story, determining its course and ending (we can lead to both saving the world and its destruction). However, when a mysterious plague and strange creatures called "devourers of worlds" appeared in it, the inhabitants again faced the specter of destruction.ĭuring the game we play as a self-created hero whose task is to end the war between local tribes and take care of those "devourers of worlds". The land could function thanks to the so-called Tree of Life. The production takes us to a post-apocalyptic, yet fabulously colorful world, populated by human-like animals.
In Biomutant sci-fi atmosphere is enriched with motifs taken from kung-fu movies.
